Guiding students to make better financial decisions

Many Canadian university students are forced to find solutions to save money, in order to keep up with the cost of living. Emiliano Laing, a third year student in the justice studies program at the University of Guelph-Humber said, “Well unfortunately, there are a lot of things I don’t really have much wiggle room on, in terms of my monthly expenses.”

“If you can avoid those credit cards, please do. If you can’t avoid them, limit the balance (even if they’ll give you more) to no more than your actual incoming cash flow for one month.”
